I have had a 20-year career in banking, building teams at RBS, Coutts and Handelsbanken. In that time I have had the privilege to develop relationships with many entrepreneurs, founders and business leaders. They have encouraged me to set up Balance Strategic Capital, a new venture focused on providing solutions for underserved market segments.

Alongside my co-founder Ian, we have built an exceptional team of bankers, fund finance specialists and business leaders to service private funds in the UK, Europe and North America. We have gained considerable momentum, and I continue to enjoy discussing our proposition with clients and key players in the market.

Between meetings, travel and building the foundations of Balance, there is little downtime, but when it does come, hopping on the water with my friends and trying to improve my sailing skills (which need some work!!) is a great way to switch off and relax, as is walking my overly energetic puppy Pyro.
